Russia Application Procedure (2026 Intake)
Track A — Russian Government Scholarship (Rossotrudnichestvo)
- Apply through Rossotrudnichestvo (Month 1–3): The Russian House in India manages applications. Open Jan–Mar 2026 for Sep 2026 intake. Submit Class 12 certificate, passport, medical certificate, and application form.
- Shortlisting & Interview (Month 3–5): Candidates are invited for interview at the Russian House (Delhi/Mumbai). ILOC provides full preparation.
- University Placement (Month 5–6): Successful candidates are assigned to Russian universities by the Ministry of Education.
- Invitation Letter (Vyzov) & Visa (Month 6–7): University issues formal invitation; ILOC handles student visa application at Russian consulate in Mumbai or Delhi.
Track B — Direct University Application
- Apply directly to your chosen university via their international admissions portal or authorised ILOC channel
- Receive university invitation letter (vyzov)
- Apply for Russian Student Visa at consulate — ILOC handles all documentation
- Upon arrival: register migration card within 7 working days; enrol in university system
