New Zealand Application Procedure (2026)

Step 1 — Programme Selection

All NZ programmes must be at a NZQA-registered provider on the NZQA framework. ILOC verifies NZQF level (Level 7 = Bachelor's; Level 9 = Master's) and ensures PSWV eligibility before recommending any programme.

Step 2 — Application & Offer Letter

Applications go directly to university portals. Documents required: academic transcripts, English proficiency certificate, CV (for postgraduate), personal statement.

Step 3 — Student Visa Application (INZ)

• Apply online via Immigration New Zealand (INZ) portal
• Processing time: 4–8 weeks
• Documents: offer of place, proof of funds (NZD 15,000 minimum), IELTS, passport
• Health and character certificates required
• Biometric data collection in India at an INZ-authorised Visa Application Centre

Step 4 — Pre-Departure & IRD Number

ILOC guides banking setup, IRD (tax) number application, and student accommodation near your campus.
